What benefits can I expect from your program?

For children: Besides focusing on the physical portion of training, we put much more emphasis on non-physical exercises, like academic achievement, leadership skills, better concentration, increased confidence, building self esteem and self discipline, respecting others, etc…

Adults: Our adult student numbers are increasing steadily and they are experiencing benefits like releasing stress, improving flexibility, better productivity at work, strengthening family values, and many say that the BBW program is THE BEST EXERCISE THEY EVER TRIED.

How long does it take to earn a black belt?

It takes an average of three years.

How long have you been in business?

Since 1986

Are your children and adult classes separate or mixed?

We have classes for 4-6 year olds, 7-12 year olds, 13-adult, and then a class for families with children ages 7 & up.

What are the average class sizes?

We have an average of ten (10) students per instructor. We do our best not to exceed a 1:15 ratio of Instructors:Students.

Is it going to interfere with my child’s study time?

Studies show that students taking classes at BBW accomplish a lot more schoolwork in a shorter period of time versus those who are not yet enrolled in the program.

How much does it cost?

It varies however most classes average $25-$30 per week. Private lessons priced separately.

How many classes do students attend each week?

We require a two (2) class minimum, however they may attend more.

Do you have family rates?

Yes, the second member of your family receives a 25% discount, and each additional member receives a 50% discount.

What are the instructors’ qualifications?

All of our head instructors are internationally certified black belt holders. They are second to none in the area. Their enthusiasm, mannerisms and instructional skills are certainly world class.

What kind of disciplines do you teach?

Our teaching is based on the traditional Korean martial art, Tae Kwon Do.

Do you offer a free trial lesson before enrolling?

Yes! In fact, this is our policy so that the right choice is made.

What are the enrollment/admission procedures?

First, we will have two lessons for an evaluation. Then we make our enrollment/admissions decision. Please note that we do not accept students who are not interested in learning.

Do you perform background checks on your Instructors?

Yes! Almost all of our Masters, Instructors, and Interns are from Korea. Our Instructors from Korea all have University Degrees and are often Korean National Team members or members of their University Tae Kwon-Do teams.

By the time they arrive in the Unites States they have already had a background check completed to be admitted in to College in Korea, another to qualify to leave Korea, and an additional background check for entry in to the United States.

If there is any suspicion from any parent, student, staff member, instructor, or Master regarding any student or aforementioned, we will perform a background check immediately to investigate the concerns.
